Laziness

⁴Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.

-Proverbs 10:4

      How many of us don't want to sit around and do nothing? We all can be very lazy and this is something we have fight on a daily basis. Laziness is one of the seven deadly sins and it is for a very good reason. We are all very lazy and it is our natural response to not want to work hard and do everything that will take the least amount of time, with the least amount of energy.
     God wants us to honor Him in everything we do and we can't do that if we sit around all day. When we work we feel this feeling of satisfaction. God made us to work and to please Him through our hard work. When we work hard we are showing how great He is. Because when we work hard we are showing how fearfully and wonderfully we are made. We are using the gifts He gave us to glorify Him.
     We need to be diligent with everything we do and do it to the best of our ability to honor God. Since we all respect God and we want to honor those who we respect, we should honor Him with our actions.
