Psalm 118:24

Psalm 118:24
24This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Everyday is a new struggle. In a struggle you don't really feel like rejoice, right? But here's the thing. What if God just suddenly didn't feel like helping us or holding the world together (He's not going to), but everything would crumble.
Something I used to fight with a lot was people would tell me that I was so negative and that everything I said brought them down. So I began to think about that and now if I feel negative or say something complainingly I make myself think of the positive that goes along with it. We need to find (if it has not already presented itself) a way to rejoice in this day.
God wants us to be happy. But sometimes we don't know what true happiness is. Someone once told me that to fully understand what true happiness is we need to understand fully what God did for us. If we didn't have an option for salvation what would we have to be happy about? All that we would be doing is living our lives waiting to go to hell.
Instead what we can look forward to and rejoice in the fact that one day all His children will go to Heaven. God made a way with His Son so that we could come and live with Him for all eternity. Now that is something to rejoice about. When we look at everything that He has made then we should be reminded about what God did for us. So whenever you next feel like being negative just remember that you have so much to look forward to and just think on the positive things instead of all the negatives. Yeah, life does throw us a lot of curveballs and a lot of things that we find very depressing but we always need to find something to be positive about. After all, after the storm comes a rainbow.
